Summary
Utilitiesman Constructionman Ariel Hogue, originally from Pensacola, Fla., takes a selfie with the snow sculpture she helped create, Feb. 7, 2014. Hogue is a member of the 2014 Navy Misawa Snow Team, which is currently on Hokkaido Island, Japan taking part in the 65th Annual Sapporo Snow Festival. The team sculpted a frosty, 3-D version of the U.S. Navy Seabee's "Fighting Bee" logo. This is the 31st year that Naval Air Facility Misawa and its tenant commands have sent a delegation of sailors to Sapporo to create a sculpture, and to serve as U.S. Navy goodwill ambassadors. The festival draws about two million spectators each year. (U.S. Navy photo by Senior Chief Mass Communication Specialist Daniel Sanford/Released)
