Summary

Utilitiesman Constructionman Ariel Hogue, who originally hails from Pensacola, Fla., carefully chips away at a snow sculpture she is helping construct, Feb. 1, 2014. Hogue is a member of the Navy Misawa Snow Sculpture Team, which is in Hokkaido, Japan taking part in the 65th Annual Sapporo Snow Festival. The team is sculpting a frosty, 3-D version of the U.S. Navy Seabee's "Fighting Bee" logo. This is the 31st year that Naval Air Facility Misawa and its tenant commands have sent a delegation of Sailors to the festival to create a sculpture, and to serve as U.S. Navy goodwill ambassadors.
