Utilitiesman Constructionman Ariel Hogue, originally

description

Summary

Utilitiesman Constructionman Ariel Hogue, originally from Pensacola, Fla., stands next to the snow sculpture she helped create for the 65th Annual Sapporo Snow Festival, Feb. 3, 2014. Hogue is a member of the Navy Misawa Snow Sculpture Team, which is in Hokkaido, Japan, taking part in the festival. The team sculpted a frosty, 3-D version of the U.S. Navy Seabee's "Fighting Bee" logo. This is the 31st year that Naval Air Facility Misawa and its tenant commands have sent a delegation of sailors to Sapporo to create a sculpture, and to serve as U.S. Navy goodwill ambassadors in an area of Japan that doesn't receive much U.S. Navy exposure.
