March 27, 1907, at Townsend, Montana, he marriedMiss Etta Townsend, daughter of William and LucyTownsend, the latter now deceased. Her father is aMontana pioneer, coming to the territory in 1884,and for over thirty years has been a successfulrancher and still lives on his ranch at Martinsdale.

For a physician and sur-geon busied with the exacting cares and duties ofhis profession, Doctor Lanstrum of Helena has hadan exceptional range of other activities in politicsand business affairs, all indicating the versatiletalents of the man and his ability to perform anastonishing amount of work in the twenty-fourhours allotted to every day. Doctor Lanstrum has been a resident of Montanafor a quarter of a century.
