Since coming to Montana he has rapidlydeveloped his financial interests and is one of thedirectors of the Commercial National Bank, theFirst National Bank of Carter, the NVest Side StateBank of Great Falls and other banking institutions.For several years he was a resident of Havre, Mon-tana, and was elected mayor of that city in 1904and again in 1906. In 1918 he was diosen a mem-ber of the Montana Legislature for a two yearterm, and was elected mayor of Great Falls onApril 7, 1919. He is a democrat in politics.
