Adolf Ulric Schützercrantz worked during his life in a number of different areas. Among other things, as a military, museum director, cartoonist, lithographer and painter. Schützercrantz became a cadet at Karlberg at the age of 14. Thereafter, his military career continued in the Second Life Guard, from which he resigned as Major in 1851.
