Summary
Some unique and original artwork photographed during a guided tour of the engine room spaces aboard the decommissioned Iowa-Class Battleship, USS Wisconsin (BB-64). The tour was given for volunteers and staff members of the Hampton Roads Naval Museum, and was facilitated by Clayton Allen, Battleship Operations Manager, and showcased areas currently open to the public and spaces that will be opened as part of the Battleship’s 75th Anniversary activities in 2019. The tour also highlights the partnership between Nauticus, which is part of the City of Norfolk, and the Hampton Roads Naval Museum, a federal museum within the Naval History and Heritage Command; both of which are co-located in Downtown Norfolk.
