It is a truly notableservice that Sumner A. Remington has rendered tothe city and community of Belt. He went thereover twenty-five years ago, a young man of collegeand university training, to take charge of the localschools. Belt was then small in population and incommercial importance, and had correspondingly avery small school. Mr. Remington has been thehead of the local educational system ever since, andhis inspiring leadership has had much to do withkeeping the school facilities apace with the growth
