Summary
Original caption: "Ford Motor Plant from an Aeroplane - Ford, Ont."At the time of this photograph, Ford City was a company town in Ontario, located adjacent to Windsor and which contained a Ford automobile plant which at one point employed more than 14,000 people. Ford City merged with Windsor in 1935. In 1953, Ford moved most of its Canadian operations to Oakville, Ontario.
