Chief Builder Billy Harger, originally from Pearl City,

description

Summary

Chief Builder Billy Harger, originally from Pearl City, Hawaii, carefully shapes a portion of a snow sculpture he is creating, Jan. 31, 2014. Harger is the captain of the 2014 Navy Misawa Snow Team, which is taking part in the 65th Annual Sapporo Snow Festival. The team is attempting to sculpt a frosty, 3-D version of the U.S. Navy Seabee’s “Fighting Bee” logo for the festival. This is the 31st year that Naval Air Facility Misawa and its tenant commands have sent a delegation of sailors to the festival to create a sculpture, and to represent the U.S. Navy on behalf of their commands.
