Dies ist eine einzelne Seite aus einer gebundenen Auswahl der offiziellen Fotoserien der kanadischen Regierung aus dem Ersten Weltkrieg. Die Sammlung von 1772 Bildern, die etwa ein Drittel aller bekannten offiziellen Fotografien der Serie repräsentieren, wurde 1919 / 20 im British Museum als Teil der offiziellen Urheberrechtsdepots deponiert. Einzelne Fotos sind nicht gekennzeichnet, und kein Index hat überlebt, aber in vielen Fällen ist in der Ecke eine Zahl des Formulars "O.123" zu sehen. Dies scheint eine offizielle Nummernfolge zu sein. Einige Abdrücke wurden abgeschnitten, so dass die Zahl nicht mehr sichtbar ist; sie scheinen jedoch der Reihe nach gebunden zu sein.
