CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – At NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the new countdown clock at the spaceport's Press Site is being tested. The modern, multimedia display is similar to the screens seen at sporting venues. The new screen will be nearly 26 feet wide by 7 feet high, a foot taller than the original clock. The historic countdown clock was designed by Kennedy engineers and built by space center technicians before Apollo 12 in 1969. NASA has requested to acquire the countdown clock from the agency’s Artifact Working Group at the agency's Headquarters for display at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Dies ist eine einzelne Seite aus einer gebundenen Auswahl der offiziellen Fotoserien der kanadischen Regierung aus dem Ersten Weltkrieg. Die Sammlung von 1772 Bildern, die etwa ein Drittel aller bekannten offiziellen Fotografien der Serie repräsentieren, wurde 1919 / 20 im British Museum als Teil der offiziellen Urheberrechtsdepots deponiert. Einzelne Fotos sind nicht gekennzeichnet, und kein Index hat überlebt, aber in vielen Fällen ist in der Ecke eine Zahl des Formulars "O.123" zu sehen. Dies scheint eine offizielle Nummernfolge zu sein. Einige Abdrücke wurden abgeschnitten, so dass die Zahl nicht mehr sichtbar ist; sie scheinen jedoch der Reihe nach gebunden zu sein.
