Details of a very successful method of constructing inward-opening casement windowsso as to be proof against wind and rain. The jamb of the frame is set in a rabbet in the masonry wall, andhas a semicircular groove cut in its outer edge for a corresponding semicircular tongue on the stile of thesash.
