Now making machine gun cover plates, this machine was converted from a line shaft drive to motor drive when a small Eastern manufacturing company converted its product from floor waxers to small parts for war equipment. Unable to purchase new equipment for his defense work, the owner bought second-hand equipment and remodelled it.
