A quiet game of marbles. All the boys work in the Salisbury (N.C.) cotton mill. The boy shooting is Henry Dedman, a warper. Been in mill 5 years. His grandmother said "I don't like to have ' em play marbles on Sunday, but when can they play?" "Yes he stands the mill work pretty well. Early getting' up is the makin' of 'em."
