Following a moment of silence, Navy Chaplain Lieutenant Commander (LCDR) John Franklin, the CABANAS 2001 chaplain, renders a salute to the victims of the vicious terrorist attacks on the United States. LCDR Franklin said, it's important for people to come together at a time like this. That it helps them get through the grieving process. And it helps those far from home identify with that larger community back home that is also grieving. "My heart reaches out to all the people who lost families in the attacks and our comrades who perished in the Pentagon," said SSGT Mazid, an information manager with US Special Operations Command South.
