Karl Stefans, of Nebraska today conferred with tribesmen of the Winnebago Reservation over his Indian bill to provide compensation for members of the Winnebago Tribe for lands which the Indians[?] were forced to leave in Wisconsin in 1863, despite the fact that the tribe had never fought against the U.S. Rep.
