Captain Pearson, Swedish-born American, for many years master of U.S. merchant ships, tells in his report to War Shipping Administration how he was attacked three times by air and submarine on his trip from America to Murmansk and experienced day and night bombings by the Germans during his four-month stay at the Russian ports. She also believes in the consumer's victory pledge ("I will take good care of the things I have . . ."), but still there are times Hitler is counting on her to lower America's civilian resources, and ultimately to weaken America's morals

STS-135 was the 33rd and final flight for Atlantis, which has spent 307 days in space, orbited Earth 4,848 times and traveled 125,935,769 miles, and also the final mission of the Space Shuttle Program.
