Onboard the U.S. Navy Nimitz Class Aircraft Carrier, USS DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER (CVN 69), ΦBig Gτ, the Harlem Globetrotters Basketball Team Mascot, gets the crowd pumped up in anticipation for the game aboard ship on December 12, 2006. The Globetrotters visited the ship as part of their 21-day Morale, Welfare and Recreation tour of the Middle East in an effort to show thanks to the men and women of the military. The Eisenhower and embarked Carrier Air Wing 7 are underway in the Arabian Sea on a regularly scheduled deployment in support of Maritime Security Operations.
