Wage reductions are necessary, N.Y. Central Prexy tells fact finding board. Washington, D.C., Oct. 6. Wage reductions are necessary to enable railroads to balance their budgets and meet competition, F.E. Williamson, President of the N.Y. Central Railroad, told President's fact finding board today. He added that unbalanced budgets tend to divert business to competing industries and increase railroad unemployment.
