Cooksey note: Looking from above at the "east" side, one sees, below the union of the two dee support tanks, the high speed (approximately 5000 L/sec) oil diffusion pump developed in this laboratory. Professor Milton G. White is by the magnet. Some of the equipment with which Alvarez and Cornog discovered helium three is behind White.
