Резюме
Poems on the Chapters of the Lotus Sutra (一品経懐紙, Ippon kyōkaishi). One poem of the collection of 28 poems on each chapter of the Lotus Sutra by as many famous poets and calligraphers of the late Heian period. Saigyō's poem was separated and mounted on a hanging scroll). A painting of a maple tree in autumn by Tosa Mitsuoki was added later and the poems were collected in an album around the same time. Located at the Kyoto National Museum, Kyoto, Japan.
Tosa Mitsuoki (1617–1691) was a Japanese painter of the early Edo period (1603–1867) who revived the Tosa school of painting (founded in the 15th century and devoted to the Yamato-e, or paintings specializing in subject matter and techniques derived from ancient Japanese art as opposed to schools influenced by Chinese art).
