While unloading off of a C-141B Starlifter from the 8th Airlift Squadron, McChord Air Force Base, Washington, a National Science Foundation (NSF) member on his way to McMurdo Sound Base has been told it will be another day due to a weather cancelation. The NSF members are a group of volunteers ranging from biological scientists to mail administers who spend five to fifteen months studying Antarctic life during DEEP FREEZE '98.
