U.S. Navy Sailors stand topside as the Virginia Class New Attack Submarine Pre-Commissioning Unit (PCU) TEXAS (SSN 775) is guided by tugboats as it arrives near Port Canaveral, Fla., Aug. 25, 2006. TEXAS is able to attack targets ashore with highly accurate cruise missiles and conduct covert long-term surveillance of land areas, littoral waters or other naval forces.
