U.S. Marine Gunnery Sgt. Ronnie Mills, a route clearance
Summary
U.S. Marine Gunnery Sgt. Ronnie Mills, a route clearance advisor with Task Force Southwest, briefs Afghan National Army engineer soldiers with 215th Corps prior to levelling a road at Camp Shorabak, Afghanistan, Sept. 18, 2017. More than 20 soldiers from various engineer kandaks throughout Helmand province are currently conducting a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Operator Course. The five-week evolution is designed to build the soldiers’ technical proficiency with large vehicles, such as bulldozers and road graders, while also bolstering their route clearance skills.
