ANDAMAN SEA (Jun. 07, 2019) The U.S. Navy amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4) conducts a breakaway in the Andaman Sea with the French navy aircraft carrier FS Charles de Gaulle (R 91), the anti-submarine destroyer FS Latouche Treville (D 646), the anti-submarine frigate FS Provence (D 652) and the underway replenishment tanker FS Marne (A 630) during a photo exercise. The Boxer Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) are deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to support regional stability, reassure partners and allies, and respond to any crisis ranging from humanitarian assistance to contingency operations.
