The Puerto Rico National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Program

The Puerto Rico National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Program celebrated the graduation of Class 18-01 at the Juan Pachín Vicéns Auditorium in Ponce, Puerto Rico. A total of 216 young members of 63 municipalities were able to obtain their high school diploma even in the aftermath of Hurricanes Irma and María in September last year. From those 216 graduates, with a total of 41 females and 175 males, one graduate decided to join the armed forces after graduation. Some 88 graduates decided to continue post-graduate studies and the rest will continue studies toward an associate degree, technical institutions and other will relocate to the mainland USA.
