The Piraeus Lion from Ancient Greece. The marble statue stands since 1688 outside the Arsenal of Venice (Arsenale di Venezia), but is today replaced by a copy. The lion has som parts with runic inscriptions, possibly from the 11th century. ..Pireuslejonet från det antika Grekland.
