The National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Wall of the Missing located in Honolulu, Hawaii (HI), with the Color enhanced name of World War II (WW II) Medal of Honor, Posthumous Recipient, Peter Tomich, CHIEF Water Tender, US Navy (USN). The Tomich Family was awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions aboard the battleship USS UTAH on December 7, 1941, during the surprise Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor. The Award Presentation Ceremony was held May 18, 2006. Retired Croatian Army Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Srecko Herceg Tonic, accepted the Award on behalf of the Tomich Family
