(May. 14, 2004) The lead and opposing solo pilots assigned to the U.S. Navy flight demonstration team, the Blue Angels, perform a close scissors-cross maneuver in front of the crowds at the 2004 Joint Service Open House. The Blue Angels fly the F/A-18A Hornet as they perform approximately 30 maneuvers during the aerial demonstration, which runs approximately an hour and 15 minutes. The Open House, held on May 14-16th at Andrews Air Force Base, Md., showcased civilian and military aircraft from the Nations armed forces which provided many flight demonstrations and static displays.
