Persian Gulf (Dec. 22, 2004) The guided missile cruiser USS Monterey (CG 61) completes an early morning underway replenishment with the Military Sealift Command (MSC) fast combat support ship USNS Arctic (T-AOE 8) and the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). Carrier Air Wing Three (CVW-3) is providing close air support and conducting intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions over Iraq.
