LOUIS (Sep. 02, 2011) The color guard assigned to Navy Recruiting District St. Louis marches members of the 53rd Cardinal Company to Busch Stadium to be sworn into the Navy during a ceremony before a game between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Cincinnati Reds. Seventy-three recruits from Navy Recruiting District St. Louis were sworn in. The Cardinal Company, named for the St. Louis Cardinals, has sponsored such groups annually since 1959.
