McCain (DDG 56) is underway in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility to participate in exercise Foal Eagle 2013. McCain is part of Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, forward deployed to Yokosuka, Japan, and conducting exercise Foal Eagle 2013 with the Republic of Korea in support of regional security and stability of the Asia-Pacific region.
