Summary
The 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) Sustainment Brigade "Lifeliners," held their color uncasing ceremony Saturday, June 30, in the “Eagle’s Nest,” on Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. The ceremony marked the brigade's readiness to support Operation Freedom’s Sentinel. The colors uncasing included the Brigade headquarters, the 101st Special Troops Battalion, and the 495th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion from the Montana Army National Guard. Together they officially assumed command of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) Resolute Support Sustainment Brigade from the 3rd Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade Headquarters and Special Troops Battalion.
