money and experienceto perfect the formula and to work out the present nicety of the planof treatment, yet the manufacturers of Hyos-Sco-Phine Tabletshave not placed the preparation on the market at prohibitive fig-ures, nor have they offered it to the laity, but instead as can beseen by an examination of their methods, they have endeavored inevery way to put out their preparation in such a shape as to enablethe physician to prescribe it as an original prescription. As to the selling price of the preparation we will take as an ex-ample a 6 grain case of morphine addiction. A course of H3^os-Sco-Phine Tablets for a 6 grain case is sold at $5. This course oftreatment covers a period of forty days, a period sufficient to makethe withdrawal of the morphine very gradual, while the treatment,which is a tonic in its nature, carries on a building up process ren-dering recovery comparatively easy in the majority of cases.
