Summary
Significance: This plant represents L.L. Nunn's first major hydroelectric generating facility outside of Colorado. At the time of completion (1898), it generated three-phase AC power at a pressure of 40,000 volts, the highest voltage of any commercial electric power system in the world. It was replaced by Olmsted Hydroelectric Plant, see HAER UT-5.
