Summary

Significance: Structure N is a wooden valve box. The valve box is located on a small south to north trending finger ridge which extends out into Horse Thief Draw. The structure is located approximately 1/2 mile northwest of Superior. The valve box consists of a square shaped wood lined pit. The valve box is 2 feet 9 inches on a side and extends downward 4 feet 5 inches to fill. The wood lining consists of vertically standing milled lumber boards and quarter round planks secured at the top with a frame of horizontally placed milled lumber boards located along the interior surfaces. The valve box pit is partially filled with sediments covering the valve and pipe.
