Description: Extravehicular Activity (EVA) 5 on Flight Day 7 to service the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) on this second servicing mission (HST SM-02). Payload Commander Mark Lee and Mission Specialist Steve Smith conduct a contingency EVA to place more Multilayer Insulation (MLI) patches on the telescope. Lee (identified by the solid red stripes on his extravehicular mobility unit (EMU) suit) attaches the handmade MLI patches onto the telescope while standing on the Remote Manipulator System (RMS) Manipulator Foot Restraint (MFR) and Smith watches Lee while holding onto the HST trunnion (001-3). Nighttime views of Lee and Smith cleaning up the worksite. Lee translates along the Second Axial Carrier (SAC) handrails (004-12). Lee and Smith holding onto SAC handrails (013-15). Lee moves the Closed Circuit Television (CCT) camera into the external airlock (016-18). Lee's helmet illuminated just above the edge of the external airlock (019-21). Smith works with the MFR stanchion and tools to remove them (022-30). Lee floats beneath the MFR (031-33).
