Description: Photographic documentation of Payload Commander Mark Lee and Mission Specialist Carl Meade performing an Extravehicular Activity (EVA) attached to the Space Shuttle Discovery during STS-64. MS Meade, attached to the Remote Manipulator System (RMS), and PC Lee were testing the Simplified Aid for Extravehicular Activity Rescue (SAFER), a small, self-contained EVA crew member mobility unit designed to provide greater astronaut mobility and a safety device.
