Description: Mission Pilot Brian Duffy at work in the SPACEHAB on the Tools and Diagnostic Systems experiment inside an enclosed work station. The experiment is to determine if a crewmember has the manual dexterity and physical stability to perform simple maintenance tasks such as soldering electrical connections. The task was to also evaluate two types of foot restraints for personal stability. One uses adjustible foot loops; the other an arrangement of bars.
