Family of Samuel and Sarah Heale, Yarraman, 1909
Samuel Heale with his wife Sarah Heale, (nee Francis), Sarah and Samuel were married in Toowoomba in 1886. Their younger daughters, seated are left Emily, and right, Elsie wearing hair ribbons. The three older daughters standing behind are Edith, Violet and Elizabeth. Some of the areas on the Darling Downs in which the family lived earlier were, Mount Whitestone, Cooyar and in Yarraman Creek, between 1913 and 1922. This photograph was probably taken before the second eldest daughter, Violet left to be married in 1913. (Description supplied with photograph.).
