Staff Sgt. Jose Mangual, motor transport operator assigned to Company A, 4th Brigade Support Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, polishes his motorcycle to bring out its shine during the spring motorcycle safety check ride, April 5, at the Robert C. Stack Jr. Dining Facility. Thirty-seven soldiers assigned to battalions throughout the brigade attended the event, which was led by Command Sgt. Maj. Dennis Defreese, command sergeant major of Raider brigade, and also the senior mentor for the brigade. Riding motorcycles is something of a hobby some soldiers in the brigade, who find these events as a chance to ride their bikes as a part of training.
