Recreation (Community or Parish House) Hall at Simmons Gap Mission. Built circa 1925 as part of the first mission established by the Episcopal Church. Started by Rev. Frederick W. Neve in 1900. Converted to Park Ranger station/residence in 1942 and occupied as such in 1943. Became office only in 1990s. Near mile 73. Photo taken April 29, 1935. (4001-009-01-01866)
