William Krenz, from Woodstock, N.Y. assigned to the Iron Horses of Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 461, fires a .50-caliber machine gun from a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter. HMH-461 is part of a Security Cooperation Marine Air-Ground Task Force embarked aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1).
