INDIAN OCEAN (Oct. 16, 2010) Security forces personnel fire a Dazzler on the fantail of the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). The Dazzler can be used for signaling or as a non-lethal deterrent to hostile force approaching the ship. The Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group is deployed supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th fleet area of responsibility.
