Stennis (CVN 74). Lookout watches are used to spot surface or air contacts in the vicinity of the ship. The John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group is on deployment in support of Maritime Operations. Maritime Operations help set the conditions for security and stability in the maritime environment, as well as complement the counter-terrorism and security efforts of regional nations.
