SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, (Sep. 19, 2010) Sailors embarked aboard High Speed Vessel Swift (HSV 2) and members of the Dominican Republic defense forces load pallets of Project Handclasp aid onto trucks for delivery to relief organizations. Swift is deployed supporting Southern Partnership Station 2010, a deployment of various specialty platforms to the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility in the Caribbean and Central America. Southern Partnership Station is an information-sharing mission with navies, coast guards, and civilian services throughout the region.
