CU soldier standing by big pile of snow and ice; looking out over it with binoculars. CU group of Russian soldiers sitting and eating. Russian soldiers come to well; leading horses; one man drops bucket in well; turns wheel on the side. Then; shot of another well; with a much larger wheel; and a man turns it by pulling knobs on the outside of the rim down toward him; a couple of other men and horses stand at well. Pan from the well across camp; in trees; snow on ground.
