Railroad Retirement Board is now constituted. Washington, D.C., Oct. 3. The Railroad Retirement Board at its meeting today welcomes M.R. Reed, new member of the board appointed by President Roosevelt, and James Gordon Robinson, newly chosen Head of the Railroad Unemployment Insurance Bureau. Mr. Reed will represent the carriers on the board while Mr. Robinson was chosen for the Directorship of Unemployment Insurance from the open competitive examination conducted by the United States Civil Service Commission, the first ever held for a ten thousand dollar a year administrative position.
