PACIFIC OCEAN (Sep. 29, 2012) Quartermaster Seaman Apprentice Saray Calderin, from Patterson, N.J., and Quartermaster Seaman Apprentice Heather Braggs, from Nesbit, Miss., both temporarily assigned from the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), measure the distance of two points on a map in the chart room aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Nimitz is underway to San Diego to embark Carrier Air Wing 11 as it prepares for a composite training unit exercise.
